Oh Marti, thanks for keeping a secret, and I’m sorry for doing that to you and Steve. It sounds like it happened at a good time though? I was busy all day and kind of wondered if I should drop you an email to let you know the post was up. I was so happy to read that you were able to share it with Rachel and your Dad. It was thrilling to read all of the wonderful comments from you and your family on my blog too. I forgot to mention your blogs on my blog so I just did an edit and added a section about them. I’m going to post simultaneously on both of yours too (:
I really appreciate and thank you again for everything. You have a special place in my heart, and it really means the world to me to be able to read about your feelings. Our time together was extraordinary, and I look forward to the day our paths cross again. We should do a photo session every year! Or at least for sure when you and Steve have a baby (:
Lots of love,
-Frank

My Photo

Becoming Left-Handed

  • The moment my best friend of 6 years and boyfriend of exactly 365 days slipped a diamond ring on my finger in late 2006, my world changed. When the ring went to the jeweler for a fitting a few days later, my left hand suddenly felt naked without a ring that hadn't even been mine for a week!

Throughout the next 13 months, the process of transitioning from independent single girl to committed wife literally felt, at times, like switching from right- to left-handed.

Our wedding day was the happiest of my life. This blog tells my story of getting to that day. I hope you find part of your story here, too.
